Before you start...
Please reference wire size and amperage recommended below. Please consult with a certified electrician for your particular needs.

Tested...
All motors are load tested at the manufacturer. Wired motors are tested before packaging.

Should a motor not function properly...
1 Check all wire connections.
2 Test GFI and have an electrician test the voltage at the plug.
3 Check source for wire size and breaker size.
4 Contact us to discuss the issue and attempt to troubleshoot.

Should the motor need returned...
1 Return must be approved in advanced.
2 We will issue an RMA reference # to track return.
3 Customer will package product and ship back to at customer's expense.
4 We will do our best to process the returned product in a timely manner. If the motor is deemed to be faulty, we will replace it and reimburse for return shipping charges.
5 If the motor tests fully operational, it will be shipped back at the customer's expense.

Limited Warranty
APH warrants this motor to the original purchaser as follows:
• One (1) year from the original date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
• Warranty coverage is limited, at our option, to repair or replacement of the motor or defective component; it does- not cover labor, shipping, removal, or reinstallation costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• This warranty applies only to the original installation site and original purchaser and is non transferable.

Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
• Improper installation, wiring, or use of a switch/control other than a compatible DPDT
reversing switch rated for this motor's voltage and amperage.
• Operation on incorrect voltage, phase, frequency, or connection without proper overload/circuit protection.
• Submersion, water intrusion beyond the motor's enclosure rating, or installation in a location inconsistent with TENV (non-fan-cooled) duty limits.
• Exceeding the motor's rated duty cycle (continuous or near-continuous running beyond intermittent boat lift use).
• Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair by anyone other than a qualified electrician or authorized service provider.
• Normal wear items, cosmetic finish, corrosion from environmental exposure, or acts of God
(lightning, flooding, storm surge)

To make a warranty claim, APH with proof of purchase, the motor's
nameplate data, and a description of the issue before returning or servicing the unit. Unauthorized returns orfield repairs performed prior to warranty review may void coverage.

FYI...
Electric motors sit at the end of the circuit. Every power problem shows up right here. Do not assume the motor is broken just because it hums or trips a breaker. The real issue might hide in your wiring, switches, or breakers.

Common Symptoms
• Tripping Breakers: Power overload or a short circuit somewhere on the line.
• GFCI Tripping: Ground faults or moisture in the wider circuit.
• Humming: Low voltage, a bad start switch, or a jammed load.
Before You Replace the Motor
• Test the power supply with a meter before buying parts.
• Check all wire connections for loose or burnt spots.
• Call a licensed electrician to find the real root cause of the problem and save money.
